COVID-19 has lasted many months and impacted many here in the United States but across the world in underdeveloped nations the impact is staggering. We are still offering help to our national friends doing food distribution in south Asia, but they are becoming tired and weary.
One of our partners has tested positive for Covid, please keep him and his family your thoughts and prayers.
Our hope was to travel to Pakistan in April but Covid; we planned to reschedule in the fall but Pakistani has a level III travel warning and India a level four from the CDC (4 is the highest warning not to travel to that nation). We and our partners in south Asia are reaching out to the least of the least, your help is greatly appreciated. As you share this financial need and share these stories with friends, coworkers or family we know our joint effort to reach these hungry devastated people of south Asia will succeed.

Many in So. Asia are facing starvation and extreme poverty on the heals of COVID. Day laborers, house or street cleaners and the poor face the decision of who to feed in their family. Unable to feed everyone they must decide who is the "most important." Dad as he is the wage earner, mom as she makes meals, cares for the family or lastly the children. Poor girl children are especially vulnerable to become the victims of modern day slavery as their parents believe the lies of the men coming to "help by finding her a job in the city."
Lady care is working with several partnership organizations across So. Asia to provide food, sanitation products including hand sanitizer and soap. But we need your help, the need is great.
